JOURNAL: De Lima defies court- The camp of sacked NBI director Magtanggol Gatdula has been stopped by the National Bureau of Investigation and Office of the Solicitor General from inspecting the vehicle of ambushed bureau deputy director Reynaldo Esmeralda.
Directed by Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, Assistant Solicitor General Amparo Cabotaje-Tang barred Gatdula's camp led by his lawyer Abraham Espejo from inspecting Esmeralda's vehicle despite the authority granted by Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 26 Judge Silvino Pampilo Jr. through a Writ of Amparo. For defying its order, De Lima may be cited for contempt by the court.
