PEOPLE'S JOURNAL: PH FAILS AVIATION TEST ANEW
FOR the second time, the Philippine aviation industry failed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) safely test. In a report released yesterday, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) will remain in Category 2 status as it has again flunked a review conducted by inspectors from the ICAO. Based on the ocular inspection, the CAAP will remain in Category 2 status after foreign aviation experts found two significant safety concerns (SSC) during the 10-day evaluation. In short, the team concluded that CAAP failed in the aircraft registration and flight safety inspection.
