STANDARD EDITORIAL: The recent flap over the suspicious aspects of the gun contracts that Puno had shepherded through the procurement process would have been the perfect opportunity for the Ombudsman to show that her brand of justice was color blind. Sadly, she failed the test. In all this time, she has remained silent, giving the impression that the President's close friends and allies were in a class of their own. Her silence also gave credence to the growing belief that those who wear yellow need not worry about a few broken laws.
