INQUIRER: A tempest is brewing in the country's diplomatic front with DFA Sec. Albert del Rosario saying his efforts to resolve the lingering standoff with China over disputed territories in the West Philippine Sea were being torpedoed by a backroom negotiator. In interviews conducted by the PDI Sen Antonio Trillanes IV emerged as the negotiator working independently for Pres Aquino in Beijing. "I think that while back channeling has its purpose, in our case it's doing more harm than good. It is important that we speak with one voice on  this matter," Del Rosario said.
