MANILA STANDARD: GARY OLIVAR - Economic growth was unbroken through nearly forty quarters under Mrs. Arroyo even in the depths of the 2008 global recession and exceeded 7 percent to my collection in at least two years. But it obviously wasn't enough to get us past the "sweet spot", and she being a trained economist as well to my knowledge never made such a claim.
