PHILSTAR: GMA experiencing pain, numbness due to new ailment, say allies
- Former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is experiencing pain and numbness in many parts of her body owing to a new ailment on her spine, opposition lawmakers, and her husband Jose Miguel Arroyo said yesterday. "She (Mrs. Arroyo) is still in pain...the former president remains in pain," Suarez later told reporters. Suarez lamented that Arroyo, who turns 65 next month, was denied access to any communication and computer devices that would make it easier to perform her duties as a lawmaker.
