ISSUE: CORONA IMPEACHMENT TRIAL (8:20-8:55 - Headstart - aNC) by K. Davila Interview with Senator-Judge Manny Villar
- While there are questions on technicalities of acquisition and sales, all Corona properties were explained by the Defense Team. My major consideration in judging the impeachment trial is the "intent" of Corona. It is very difficult to sign an impeachment complaint against a sitting President. Estrada impeachment is different from Corona impeachment.
- Congressmen seemed happy signing the Corona impeachment complaint but agonized to sign the impeachment against Estrada. Corona is not God, we cannot expect him to be whiter than white. I continue to support the Aquino government. I support Aquino's anti-corruption drive but that is just a means to an end.
