The Philippine Medical Association (PMA) said yesterday it would be better for former president and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to stay in hospital for the meantime, considering her new illness, lumbar spinal stenosis, PMA Governor for Manila Leo Olarte said patients with such illness "should be placed in a patient-friendly environment because tress can expedite the degeneration of the lumbar spine."
