Senators acting as judges in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona should respect the Supreme Court (SC) order stopping them from scrutinizing his foreign currency deposit accounts, Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president Jose Palma said yesterday. "There is a law of secrecy for dollar accounts. I am sure that the Senate President would not give it away," Palma said over Church-run Radio Veritas. "It is more academic for the Senate to respect the TRO (temporary restraining order)."
