Rep. Pastor Alcover (Anad Partylist) has criticized Pres. B. Aquino III for doling out P1 Million to each of the 188 Congressmen who signed the impeachment complaint vs SC-CJ R. Corona.
Alcover said some of his colleagues in Congress told him that they received P1 Million each after signing the impeachment which some did not bother to read.
"They said, they accept because they want to give Christmas presents to their constituents. They're shameless," Alcover said. The legislator said, Aquino gave a victory party for the 188 pro-impeachment Congressmen at Shangrila in Makati while millions of Filipinos are in poverty. Alcover also accused Dept. of Budget & Management Sec. Butch Abad as having released P800 million in PDAF to his district in Batanes which has only 10,000 voters. - EOB/PDF pls pass
