THREE years into the Aquino administration, the signs are painfully clear that the government's approach to privatizing the power industry has been an utter failure. If the administration were truly protective of consumers, it would lead the charge to repeal EPIRA, not defending its principles. Yet it continues to PURSUE POLICIES THAT BENEFIT ONLY THE BIG PLAYERS in the power industry, and keeps the rest of us in the dark.
