On the last day of 2013, oil companies raised the price of gasoline by P1.15 per liter. With the price increase, the year 2013 ended with a net increase for major fuel products of P3.59 per liter for gasoline and P4.68 per liter for diesel. First day of 2014, news reports reminded us that SSS and Philhealth will begin collecting higher contributions from members this month. Meralco's electricity billing was just TRO'ed temporarily.
