TRIBUNE: ABAD'S DBM KEPT COA IN THE DARK - AUDIT CHIEF
The CoA, since 2010, was being kept in the dark by the DBM as the state audit agency was denied any access on any documents pertaining to VILPs for "hard projects", CoA chairman Grace Pulido-Tan admitted to the Senators. In the course of auditing P32 billion worth of VILP releases for the said period, the CoA found out that the actual amount stood at P115.9 billion yet CoA could only trace P46.7 billion or only 40 percent "because of the DBM's refusal to cooperate."
