ANC: Taiwan Updates
- Malacanang says, Pres Aquino is sending MECO Chief Amadeo Perez to personally convey his apologies for the fatal shooting by the PG Coast Guard of a Taiwanese fisherman near Batanes. But Taiwan's Foreign Ministry says, it refuses to meet with Perez, because he does not have enough authorization from the Phil government. Taiwan already froze applications for work permits of Filipinos, criticizing of the incident.
