Poll watchdog Kontra Daya has dared Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes to disqualify leftist Akbayan, which is being accused of being a Malacanang-backed party-list group. Kontra Daya spokesman Fr. Joe Dizon said disqualifying Akbayan will remove doubts on the independence of Comelec from Malacanang.
