De Lima is simply a lightning rod, a smokescreen diverting our attention from who Pnoy really wanted to appoint in the 1st place. Now it's anyone but De Lima. Why do you think she still makes noise, making herself more unacceptable as CJ? The public's mind has been conditioned and now Pnoy can appoint pretty much anyone in the list, including one who will be CJ for 18 years. De Lima in return has been getting publicity, enough for her political plans.
