INQUIRER: Ombudsman thrashes bribery, graft cases vs. Arroyos - Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales has dismissed the bribery & corruption complaint filed against Arroyo, her husband Jose Miguel Arroyo, former elections commission Virgilio Gracillano & 4 others for allegedly handing out envelopes with cash and providing transportation, including the use of a helicopter, in Mindanao during the 2004 election campaign. Also cleared were former CAAP Dir Gen Alfonso Cusi, former Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera, Phil Ports Authority manager Efren Ballozos, & former Shariah Circuit Court Judge Nagamura Moner.
