The Senators-Judges cited the "template case" (Rabe v. Flores, May 14, 1997) of a female court interpreters, as basis to convict CJ Corona. This was wrong, because she was dismissed mainly for GROSS DISHONESTY (double compensation-getting salary simultaneously from Municipal Assessors Ofc & RTC) This alone was ground for her dismissal. The non-declaration of the market stall in her SALN was just an add'l ground, NOT the sole basis.
