INQUIRER: The moderate Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP) joined the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), Partido ng Manggagawang (PM) and Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino in castigating the President for his "disconnect" with the country's laborers. "President Aquino disappointed the thousands of workers who went to Mendiola waiting to hear his good news. He failed the workers and yet he doesn't get it." said Alan Tanjusay, ALU-TUCP advocacy officer.
