MLA STANDARD: Blackouts trigger P5-b class suit-MINDANAO'S residents and business operators will file a P5-billion class suit against government officials as a result of the continuing blackouts that are affecting their livelihoods and ruining their appliances and equipment, Agham Rep. Angelo Palmones said Wednesday. The unpredictable power surges have damaged appliances, computers and store equipment in an estimated 500,000 households - not to mention the income lost by business establishment owners and workers," Palmones told the Manila Standard.
