STANDARD EDITORIAL

- THERE was something unseemly - almost thuggish - about the way senator-judges in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona eagerly lined up to interrogate officials from the Philippine Savings Bank Wednesday. The court's shabby treatment of the witnesses was a shameful spectacle all around, and a complete waste of time, as the leaked documents in question, by its own admission, had nothing to do with the allegations set out in Article 2 of the impeachment complaint.
