PDI (FEB 2, 2012): PROSECUTORS LINKED TO HACIENDA LUISITA's LAW FIRMS
- The clans wants the court to rule owners of Hacienda Luisita should be paid P10B for the lands to be turned over to farmers and not the P196M which the tribunal directed in its 10/22/11 resolution. Tupas 'law firm filed on 12/16/11, at the court a "MOTION TO CLARIFY AND RECONSIDER RESOLUTION OF NOV 22, 2011.. as if given the go signal when on Dec. 12, the impeachment complaint was rammed through congress. Based on their Dec. 16 petition, they will get, if the court buckles a staggering P10B, that will come from taxpayers' money.
