Whatever happened to 250 million raised, through a public offering, that went to Omico Kapital, Inc., chaired by Antonio Lopa (a relative of Pres. Aquino)
Said amount is supposedly for the construction of a mixed-use condos in Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati, in a joint venture project with Guevent Investment Dev't. Corp. and Honey Builders, Inc.
In a letter to Justice Secretary de Lima by Alberto Gaviola, legal counsel of GIDC and HBI, Gaviola wrote that the NBI investigation was going smoothly before the Aquino admin took over. However, during Aquino's admin, Omico exec. began snubbing subpoenas issued by the NBI.
Another case of DOJ improper handling of a case because of influential party involvement (Lopa-Aquino). It is only after the resolution of a case by the prosecutor that the DOJ may take over case for resolution.
Now, who said that "walang mahirap pag walang corrupt"
