INQUIRER: Former Pres turned Pampanga rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo yesterday opposed the entry of lawyer Lorna Kapunan as a private prosecutor in the plunder case against her in the Sandiganbayan. Arroyo's lawyer, Anecleto Diaz, cited a Supreme Court ruling that said that in a case of undue injury to the government, it should be represented by a public prosecutor in the recovery of any civil liability from the accused.

do not blame media for scaring tourists away. do not blame media for visitors exposed to criminality. do not blame media for tourists being harassed in the immigration queues. do not blame media for airports' stinking toilets. do not blame media for delayed flights. do not blame media for unscrupulous taxi drivers and hawkers. do not blame media for mishandled hostage taking. do not blame media for kidnapping and terrorist activities in mindanao. do not blame media for street floodings and traffic mess. do not blame media for putting the country's waters in a war zone. heap the blame on those who allow these things to happen.

Why can a sick lady lawmaker confined to her house worry about her constituents in the midst of her legal worries while we have a healthy top official who can sleep soundly and comfortably ignoring the discomforts of victims of heavy rains and flash flood? should media REFRAIN from reporting this as this will be "negativism" on their part?
