GMA7: House to defy Sandiganbayan
Gonzales said the House will not temporarily drop Mrs. Arroyo from its rolls even with an order from the anti-graft court. "If the Sandiganbayan suspends her, it will not be implemented by the House," he said.

Goal of power summit was to sell higher rates - F. Pascual (Phil Star) "Pres Noynoy flew to Davao this week with a ready remedy and solution to Mindanao's electricity crisis. He wanted them to swallow the bitter pill of higher-priced electricity to be generated and distributed by an entrenched power cartel." "MalacaƱang "whiz kid's" odd handling of the situation has given rise to suspicion that the energy crisis was allowed to deteriorate to justify power oligarchs' descending on the darkened scene bearing adequate, tho costly  electricity."

MLA STANDARD EDITORIAL: ADO REPORT 2012
Many well-meaning observers of Philippine society, including the World Bank and the ADB itself, have been gently urging the Aquino administration to pay more attention to the work of reducing the rich-poor gap. No one can disprove the fact that when the Aquino administration took office, it took over a Philippine economy that was growing at 7.6 percent. After only a year under this administration, the economy shrank to a gross domestic product of 3.7 percent. This was the result, Budget Secretary Florencio Abad himself admitted, of the policy to constrict infrastructure spending. Other cabinet departments also virtually froze its activities in response to the Palace order to make sure that every project was transparent and free from any kind of corruption. The ADB report warns that letting inequality fester will cause instability. Indeed, the poorer regions will end up being the site of protests and even rebellions.

Of course, Valte is probably not leaving her job, any more than energy Secretary Rene Almendras is expected to resign after thoroughly messing up the power crisis in Mindanao. Because the officials of the Aquino administration are, for the most part, nobodies even in their previous careers before joining government, they never had it so good since President Noynoy Aquino plucked them out of obscurity.
The golden rule is "Do to others, as if you are the others!" LP members are now in big conflicts, loyalty is not a virtue in politics, more members are planning to join VP Binay!
