Bulletin headline: Rice Smuggling Stays Unabated

Inquirer Headline: Meralco asks SC: Lift TRO on rate increase

Star headline: Palace prods judiciary on rice smuggling cases --- in the Star headline, sub headline says 157 court cases, zero convictions --- "so far, none of the 157 cases has ended in a conviction." WHY ? Because this govt just keeps filling cases even if the evidence is weak. Thus, their dismal record. Zero conviction.

As to the Inquirer headline, sub headline is: Utility firm warns of power outages... My gosh, Meralco, even has the gall to threaten us. Lousy SOBs. As to the Bulletin headline, sub headline is: Cheap Imported Grains Flooding Zamboanga City... Smuggling has never been as rampant as in this administration.... Tsk tsk tsk

MANILA BULLETIN: Aquino administration's satisfaction rating declines

TRIBUNE: Noy's rating continues slide in SWS Dec. poll

ABANTE: Satisfaction rating ng Aquino govt, plakda
TRIBUNE: CHARLIE MANALO - Contagious

A friend texted me yesterday lamenting how the government, in cahoots with the yellow media is playing with the Vhong-Deniece-Cedric saga even as the country has been facing more serious issues lately.

My friend said he just could not fathom why the Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation's extra attention to a simple police matter with separate press conferences when the National Bureau of Investigation is directly under the DoJ.
TRIBUNE: NINEZ CACHO OLIVARES - Apology and justification for Noy's rating drop

This one is for Ripley's. Believe it or not, but pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS) apologizes for the lower ratings on the public satisfaction with the Aquino administration. Isn't that truly strange for the SWS to be apologizing for the lower ratings obtained by the Aquino administration and even Noynoy himself?

Pnoy napikon na naman sa media re negative news reporting... Eh wala namang naiitulong sa bayan.

Deo Macalma: kung ayaw mo mabanatan (sa media) wag ka pumasok sa gobyerno.

MLA STANDARD: KIT TATAD - The big Social Weather Swindle

In the latest alleged survey, which has made a mockery of the suffering in Eastern Visayas, the questions asked of the interviewees were never publicly disclosed. But sources have revealed that some people were asked in face-to-face interviews, (a method no longer used in most other countries), "if they would like to see Aquino removed." To that question, only the most daring would answer "yes" This allowed the fraudsters to say Aquino still enjoyed high popularity among the Yolanda victims. But instead of saying that a high X-percent of those interviewed said they did not want to see Aquino removed, the fraudsters claimed a high X-percent of 100 million Filipinos still support Aquino. Sheer magic!
